Philosophy: I believe the best approach is cardio and strength training in conjunction with nutrition—none of these will work separately. Live them all! Everyone has a specific body type. Let’s take what we were born with and make it the best it can possibly be. Love yourself. Strive to be fearless. Train hard and find your inner athlete.

Fun Fact: During the summer months, I can be found paddleboarding in the Long Island Sound!

Cristina

Philosophy: As a former dancer and athlete, fitness has always been a part of my lifestyle. I think it’s important to make fitness fun and enjoyable so you look forward to doing it, which will keep you consistent, because consistency is key! I believe in functional training methods, as it is very important to be able to hold your own body weight and perform regular daily tasks. Building strength from within is where it starts. Feeling and looking good is the bonus of a healthy mentally, physically, and nutritious lifestyle. Not only do I build muscle, I build confidence.

Fun Fact: I am a dedicated hockey mom to 3 boys. If I’m not at the gym, you can find me at the rink.

ALISON

Certifications: NASM Personal Training; ACE Group Fitness

Philosophy: Movement is such an incredible thing! Our bodies are designed to move, yet somehow we have become accustomed to a sedentary way of life. I think exercise is an essential way to combat the lengths of time we spend sitting, whether it be a simple walk around the house or a HIIT workout at the gym. As a dancer, I value the way movement allows me to let go of the negative energy of the world and live in the present moment. There is truly no better feeling than the euphoria of finishing a workout, which shows how valuable movement is to our bodies and minds. There is no right or wrong way to move, it just matters that you do it!

Fun Fact: I have danced my whole life and am currently pursuing a career as a professional dancer! I love finding ways to incorporate my dance background into my work as a fitness professional.

Jess

Certifications: Group Exercise + Prenatal Fitness with AFAA; Personal Training with NASM

Philosophy: I believe physical wellness is connected to mental wellness. Exercise releases the “feel-good” hormone in our brain called endorphins. So a consistent routine can help improve your mental health and keep you motivated, giving you complete wellness.

Fun Fact: I used to pretend I was Olympic gold medalist Dominique Dawes, often doing cartwheels and knocking over knick-knacks in my living room growing up. Oops!

MJ
