Jonathan Roosevelt Director of Training & Nutrition
Jonathan began coaching when he was 16 years old. During high school he coached tennis; during college he started a business coaching rowing. After college, Jonathan coached the British rowing team that won the gold medal at the 1992 National Schools Championships.
Jonathan earned his Bachelor's degree magna cum laude as well as his Master's degree from Harvard University. Jonathan holds the nationally recognized Personal Trainer certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the Nutrition Specialist Certification from Lifestyle Management Associates, and the Adult CPR certification from the American Red Cross.
Jonathan enjoys reading, tennis, weight training and eating good food with friends and family.
Professor Dr. Harold Solomon Harvard Medical School, My Healthy Fit Advisor
Dr. Solomon is Medical Director and Founder of Weight Loss for Life, a medically supervised weight loss clinic. Dr. Solomon is considered one of the nation's leading authorities on the treatment of obesity. From 1994 to 1995, Dr. Solomon was named to "Best Doctors in America" for obesity, a prestigious national award determined by other physicians.
Dr. Solomon is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a Senior Physician and Trustee at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Steve Brown
Steve spent seven years working for YMCA where he specialized in personal training, women's group training, and sports conditioning. A certified teacher, Steve spent two years teaching sixth grade, and was most recently the Education Coordinator at a residential home for adolescent boys. Steve is also a member of the Wilmington High School Boy's Basketball coaching staff.
Steve graduated Magna Cum Laude from Westfield State College. He currently has plans to pursue a Master's degree in Educational Counseling with a specialization in Sports Psychology at Boston University. He is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), a nationally recognized certification from the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is CPR/AED certified through the American Red Cross.
In his free time Steve enjoy reading, watching and playing sports, and spending time with his family and friends.
Lauren Peterson
Prior to joining My Healthy Fit, Lauren was a personal trainer at a club in Chelmsford. Lauren has also been an aerobics instructor - at the University of New Hampshire Recreation Center as well as at health clubs in Bedford and Chelmsford. Lauren has gained experience in clinical nutrition practices at an assisted living care facility in New Hampshire as well as at The Department of Health Services at the University of New Hampshire.
Lauren earned her Bachelor's degree with a major in nutrition from the University of New Hampshire, Durham. She holds the nationally recognized Personal Trainer certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as well as a Group Fitness Certification from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). She is also certified by the American Red Cross in Adult CPR.
Lauren enjoys volunteer work, which she has done for numerous organizations, including Breast Cancer 3-Day, and the Best Buddies program, for special needs students. She also enjoys many outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, and rollerblading. She has a passion for weight training and pilates. In her spare time she enjoys cooking healthy meals and creating new recipes.
Jenna Stone
Prior to joining My Healthy Fit, Jenna was a personal trainer and group exercise instructor at a club in North Reading. Jenna has also been a teacher's assistant, tennis camp counselor, and the assistant to a literary agent!
Jenna earned her Bachelor's degree cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She holds the nationally recognized Personal Trainer certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as well as an Adult CPR certification from the American Red Cross.
In addition to working out, Jenna enjoys creating new recipes, as long as they're quick and easy! And she loves to just spend her free time with friends and family.
